Spring time fun

Before......

After....

Ok, so looking at the before and after pictures it doesn't look like we did much. But Chris and I spent the entire day on Saturday doing yard work. We pulled up all the bushes in the front (except the roses) and planted bigger ones that will bloom in the summer and change colors in the fall. The other ones were puny and not pretty at all. Then I planted flowers in front and around the mailbox as well as bulbs all over. I cant wait until the summer when the bulbs start to bloom. It was really nice to spent the day together working on the house, but I must say Im really glad we wont have to do it again for a while.

New Pics

Chris, Alexia and I went to Richmond last weekend to see Zachary. While we were there we took the kids to Maymont. I got some really cute pics....enjoy.

My Birthday

For my birthday we all (me, Chris, Alexia, dad and Shannon) went to dinner at Sappari's (a japanese restaurant where they cook at the table). Alexia loved it. She really enjoys them cooking at the table and all the tricks they do-- at least she enjoyed it up until our chef threw a shrimp tail and hit her in the forehead and burnt her. After dinner we went back to my dads to open presents and eat cake. We had a great time. Heres some pics. Enjoy.

It Snowed In Greenville!!!

January 20 we woke up to snow!! We were all very excited. Although I think we were more excited about the idea of snow. Alexia played in it for exactly 10 minutes, and then she'd had enough. She made a couple snow angels and threw a couple snow balls. After that she was ready to come in. She didn't like that it made her wet (my little ms. priss).

Here is a picture of our house first thing that morning as Alexia and I left for school and work...

and here is a picture of our backyard the next morning. We got about 5 to 6 inches all together...enough to completely shut down Greenville.

Hi...

Ok, so its official...Im the worst blogger ever. Sorry I haven't had an update in a while (again). I promise to get better. Not much has been going on around here lately. Alexia is still taking and loving gymnastics. She is also very excited about starting kindergarten in the fall. She is constantly putting stuff in her backpack and telling Chris and I that we need to help her get ready for school. I'm just not ready for that yet....
