Alexia started soccer yesterday. She was so stinking cute in her little shin guards and cleats. She was really nervous going out on the field with all the other little kids since she didnt know anyone. She was glued to my side for the first few minutes, but Alexia is quite the social butterfly and it didnt take her long to make new friends. Their coach, Billy, had them race (boys against the girls) the width of the soccer field and Alexia won twice. On the third race across the field she tripped and fell. As a couple other parents and the coach rushed over to her as she got trampled by the other kids she popped up, raised her arms to the sky and shouted "Im ok!" and finished racing to the other side. She had a great time. We can't wait until next week.
